Industrial mechanic (m/f/d)
The profession
As an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) at Glencore Nordenham, you are a crucial member of our team. You will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our operational facilities and technical systems. Additionally, you will manufacture components and ensure the operational readiness of our equipment.
About the Training Program

Manufacturing, Assembly, and Disassembly of Components: You are responsible for producing, installing, and dismantling various components.

Maintenance and Upkeep of Equipment: You ensure that our operational facilities and tools are in excellent condition.

Ensuring Operational Readiness: Through regular inspections and maintenance, you ensure that our equipment remains operational.

Maintenance of Technical Systems: You contribute to the upkeep and repair of our technical operational systems.
The training to become an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) lasts 3.5 years. If you perform exceptionally well, you may be able to shorten the training period to three years. You will receive training both in our own workshop and at the vocational school location in Brake. Here, you will acquire all the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for your role with us.
We expect you to have a secondary school diploma (Realschulabschluss) or a good lower secondary school diploma (Hauptschulabschluss). Additionally, you should have a strong interest in and good grades in technology, physics, and mathematics.
